We\u2019ve all heard about someone who\u2019s had a bad experience with an after-sales service department (customer service). It\u2019s frustrating enough to receive unsatisfactory service after a regular purchase such as clothing or a computer, etc. Imagine what\u2019s it\u2019s like for one of the most important purchases of your life\u2026 your home. <\/p>\n

At Construction Voyer, we know how important it is to support our customers from the beginning to the end of home construction<\/strong>, and especially after we deliver their home<\/strong>.
\n <\/p>\n

What\u2019s the role of the post-service sales team?<\/h3>\n

After a visit from the building inspector and delivery of their new home, our homeowners receive an inspection report with a list of completions. Completions include small details and minor work to be completed following the final walkthrough. This report has the coordinates for Jos\u00e9e Locas<\/strong>, who is the contact person for any and all questions about your home or condominium. <\/p>\n

Jos\u00e9e is the bridge between customer requests and the various stakeholders at Construction Voyer. She answers all your questions about your home warranties<\/strong> (10-year warranty<\/a>, roofing, materials, etc.). When warranty work is required<\/strong>, she acts as the go-between, following up with the inspector, servicemen and\/or subcontractors<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

In the case of non-warranty requests<\/strong>, she coordinates the work<\/strong> (gypsum repair, sealer, gutter cleaning, thermal camera inspection, caulking, etc.) with the serviceman, or puts you in touch with reliable suppliers<\/strong> and supports you<\/strong> as you deal with them. <\/p>\n

\u00ab I have been doing this job since 1981 and I have been part of the Voyer team for 11 years. I make it a point to respond as quickly as possible to customer requests. Obviously, everything isn\u2019t entirely in my hands, and sometimes I wait for answers from the team and from suppliers. But I always do everything I possibly can so that our homeowners get the answers and service they expect \u00bb, Jos\u00e9e Locas, Director of Post-Sales Service.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

How the customer is supported throughout his\/her request<\/h3>\n

1. Make contact with Jos\u00e9e<\/strong> by email at: jlocas@constructionvoyer.ca<\/a>  <\/p>\n

2. Depending on the request, she will send an inspector (to verify if the work is under warranty or what work is to be done)<\/strong>, a serviceman or subcontractor to the customer\u2019s home to do the work. If it\u2019s only a question<\/strong> that requires an answer (getting the plans to do renovations without touching load-bearing walls, a lost mailbox key, etc.), she will respond as quickly as possible.  <\/p>\n

3. Then, Jos\u00e9e coordinates appointments<\/strong> between the customer and the various workers involved. She follows-up on the requested service and ensures that the owner is completely satisfied<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n

4. Once the service call work is completed, the file is closed.
