{"id":10844,"date":"2017-03-16T13:06:06","date_gmt":"2017-03-16T17:06:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/voyer.ca\/en\/?p=10844"},"modified":"2018-04-04T10:50:21","modified_gmt":"2018-04-04T14:50:21","slug":"novoclimat-2-0-construction-more-accessible-than-ever","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/voyer.ca\/en\/novoclimat-2-0-construction-more-accessible-than-ever\/","title":{"rendered":"Novoclimat 2.0 construction more accessible than ever"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Buyers and future owners have an excellent reason to rejoice: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lapresse.ca\/maison\/immobilier\/conseils\/201611\/04\/01-5037742-coup-de-pouce-a-novoclimat-20.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Quebec has just increased financial assistance for the construction of Novoclimat 2.0 certified homes<\/a>. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Superior insulation<\/strong>, <strong>improved sealing<\/strong> of the building envelope, <strong>healthier indoor air<\/strong>, <strong>high-performance<\/strong> doors and windows, <strong>savings of approximately 20%<\/strong> on the heating\/ventilation portion of electricity bills, so many benefits that make <a href=\"http:\/\/www.efficaciteenergetique.gouv.qc.ca\/en\/my-home\/novoclimat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Novoclimat 2.0 homes<\/a> extremely interesting for residential clients.<\/p>\n<p>Increasingly aware of the multiple benefits offered by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.efficaciteenergetique.gouv.qc.ca\/en\/my-home\/novoclimat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">energy-efficient construction<\/a>, sometimes buyers are concerned about the additional costs associated with sustainable housing.<\/p>\n<p>With this government initiative, high-energy performance properties become more accessible than ever for their future residents, offering up to $4,000 in subsidies for the construction of a home built according to the principles of the Novoclimat 2.0 program.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, <a href=\"http:\/\/cmhc-schl.gc.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation\u2019s (CMHC) Green Home program<\/a> provides a refund of 15%-25% for people who want to procure a mortgage and build a Novoclimat 2.0 home. Desjardins also offers a rebate of up to $2,000 as part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.desjardins.com\/ca\/personal\/loans-credit\/mortgages\/green-homes-program\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Green Home Program<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Purchase with Voyer: Take advantage of Novoclimat 2.0 and ComfortCertifiedMC*<\/h3>\n<p>In 2017, Construction Voyer decided to automatically include Novoclimat 2.0 certification and ComfortCertifiedMC (innovative and completely waterproof building envelope) in every new home construction, offering a 25% reduction in energy consumption (and the heating\/ventilation portion of electricity bills) at the same cost (no extra charges, no hidden fees).
